Commercial
The MultiLab is a mixed function space. There are several commercial functions which are located on the ground floor and the first floor of the renovated building. At the ground floor, market hall / café with 12 rentable stands and atelier with 30 rentable studios are constructed. On the first floor, 3 spacious offices are provided. These commercial functions maintain some of former Microlab essences, and make the building more diverse, interactive and welcoming at the same time.
Market hall
The spacious market hall on the plinth seduces people to walk through the building. People may get take-away foods from variety of food stands, eat them and spend time in the public squares around the building.
Next to the market hall, medium size café is constructed. Unlike the market hall with an active flow of people walking through, this space is reserved for people to sit in peace, where they could spend longer time in the building.

Atelier
Considering our theme of “evolution of creation”, some former Microlab functions are kept in order to maintain current atmosphere of the building and Strijp-S. Atelier is one of the maintained functions, as it contributes greatly to the image of the creative district. There are rentable individual studios and open space where artists can work together.
Office is another maintained function from the former Microlab building. The spacious offices are renovated to meet the increasing demand for modernized offices in the Eindhoven. Also, there is a spacious balcony facing the inner garden, where workers can refresh and get fresh air.
